Sinka Zoo

Finally plans to vacation with family to Sinka Island Zoo also implemented. Along with Idul Fitri and joint holidays, my family and I took the time to release fatigue and routine by visiting one of the mainstay attractions in West Kalimantan.

Sinka Island Zoo, a tourist attraction that combines the concept of nature tourism in the form of beach and zoo in one location in Singkawang area, three hours drive from Pontianak. Tourist attractions that allow visitors to see mammals, birds and apes as well as the beauty of the beach in one area.
If we usually see beaches and zoos in separate places, even different cities, then at Sinka Island Zoo, we will get both objects in one area. Proverbally combine the beauty of Pangandaran beach in Ciamis with Ragunan zoo in Jakarta, though not as good as both.
Because it takes three hours to the location, we depart from Pontianak at 6 am along with my family at 4 am have prepared breakfast, plus lunch lunch. Arrived at the location around 9 am and we headed straight to Sinka Zoo. To buy admission tickets, we do not have to get off the vehicle. There was a long-sleeved black safari uniformed officer who approached us and saw the number of passengers in it.

My father paid a ticket for 6 people, each costing 15 thousand rupiah per person. Kids are free. At first I was shocked, why he did not pay. After explained the safari officer, I just understand, apparently tickets for children free.

Sinka Zoo is one of the most popular areas in Sinka Island Park. Sinka Zoo is a zoo with hilly topography. The Sinka Zoo area is in the southern part of Sinka Island Park, which is about 500 meters after entering the Sinka Island Park area. The concept on Sinka Zoo is similar to Safari Park. To enter into this Sinka Zoo, visitors will be charged entrance fee at Rp.15.000 per person.

The last tour that can be visited is Bajau beach. To visit the beach Bajau, will be charged entrance fee of Rp.20.000 per person. Bajau Beach has a rocky characteristic with beautiful natural scenery. With the rocky conditions, visitors would be difficult if you want to swim in this beach.
